Enrich business data with Make and the Siren API

Introduction

In this tutorial, I show you how to enrich business data automatically and for free in under 30 seconds. A simple and effective hack allowing you to report relevant data on your prospects such as:

• Effective size
• Adress
• NAF code
• CA
• Web site
• etcetera

All this data allows you to qualify your prospects and adapt your sales and marketing pressure.

Here's how to do it!

1. Create an account on the INSEE website

Access theAPI Sirene V3 and create an account to access your API key. Mandatory for your API requests.

2. Add a field to retrieve a Siret or Siren number in your Webflow form

The SIRET number will allow you better precision because you can enrich directly on the daughter company.

Example: you ask for the SIREN and the company in question is McDonald's, you do have the parent company but you have no idea which McDonald's it is.

This is where the SIRET number is interesting, it allows you to trace a single company because it is unitary.

3. Add your form as a trigger in Make

You can use a webhook as a trigger or submit your form directly.

4. Add an HTTP request

Add the following endpoint url:

• If you want to enrich on the Siret - https://api.insee.fr/entreprises/sirene/V3/siret/{siret.field.value}
• If you want to enrich on the Siren - https://api.insee.fr/entreprises/sirene/V3/siren/{siren.field.value}

By adding the value of your field created previously at the end of the url
